T - Time you wake up: Usually around 4:00 to 5:00 am...when Abigail wakes up to eat and then I get ready for the work day!

V - Vegetable you dislike: I honestly like all vegetable!  Except maybe eggplant...it just looks weird!



W - Ways you run late: Usually when I am putting Abigail into her car seat and she spits up....Happens ALL of the time! :)  But, she is so precious doing it! lol!



X - X-rays you've had: My teeth, my head and do Ultrasounds count?



Y - Yummy food you make: I try to make a variety of Yummy foods!  We like to experiment...my new knack is trying new recipes out of the Racheal Ray cookbook....The "BOB"! 



Z - Zoo favorite: The Elephants....because, they just amaze me!  They are so big!

Ahhh....A little "me" time this week!

The doctor that I work for has been out this whole week!  It has been great!  We have only seen 6-12 patients everyday compared to the 50-70 we usually see in one day!  AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!  So, the past two days I have taken off the afternoons and let me tell you...I have SO enjoyed it!  On Tuesday, I cleaned house and prepared dinner BEFORE I picked up the girls!  Yesterday, I had lunch with my lovely sister, got my oil changed (which was way overdue), got a hair cut (which was way overdue as well LOL)! and I READ A WHOLE MAGAZINE!!!  WOW!  I have not done that one in a while!  It was a much needed little hiatus and I just wanted to express my joy!

On another note!  Greg and I are going to have our first "Date Night" since sweet baby Abigail was born almost 5 months ago!  Friday will be the first night I will not be with both of my girls!  I am very very nervous and anxious about it, but I know they will be in wonderful loving arms of Greg's Mom's!  So, with that being said....I am very very excited about my hubbie's and my night out....and alone! :)

Now...for a post on time!

This weekend, we had a lot of fun! If you know anything about Hale Center (where I am from) you would know that every year the school has a Harvest Festival! It is one big fundraiser that all grades participate in and on the last day they hold a carnival...and this year we went back for it because my Mom was in charge of it! She worked so hard and it turned out great!! Paisleigh had so much fun! They had a costume contest and she won for her age group! She looked adorable! It was held at the elementary school, so we tiptoed out for a bit and played outside too!

We had a sick one this week....

Paisleigh had a yucky viral infection this past week! Luckily it was NOT the flu! Whew! I just really hope we pass that one up! However, our little one was running fever on Monday and Tuesday and just felt plain awful all week! Although the pictures tell a different story!! Oh well! So, Greg stayed home with her through Wednesday and I was THRILLED to be home with my girls on Thursday and Friday! IT WAS MUCH NEEDED! We had a really good time just hanging out! Paisleigh and Abigail both were perfect, but I was defiantly exhausted by the end of it all!

A week late, but too cute to pass up!

Well, we have been very busy it seems! The past two weekend have been full of fun and exciting adventures for us! Last weekend the Girls and I were able to meet my Sister (Gigi), Mom (Nona) and my Grandmother (Granny) for the Texas Tech Homecoming Parade on Broadway! We had so much fun and Paisleigh LOVED it! She even gave us a guns up!!





It was really a lot of fun to have all four generations together again! I have missed being with all of the girls so badly! It was great to finally have a Saturday full of events again! Oh yea...and the girls and Mom's pictures ended up in Lubbock Spotted Online! They were precious!!

We also went and got Paisleigh's hair cut for only the second time! She was so good and so still while she was trimming her up! Afterwards, Paisleigh went running through the mall swishing her hair side to side like she felt so wonderful! It was adorable!













































I really enjoyed watching Paisleigh's expressions! I could just tell she loved her hair and she felt like the little princess she is! :)

RACE FOR THE CURE!

We woke up early Saturday morning for a very exciting adventure! We participated in the 2009 Race for the Cure here in Lubbock! This was a very special morning for me, Angie (my sister), my girls and Greg to all participate in! Many of you know that my Mom is a Survivor of Breast Cancer! She is going on two and a half years of being CANCER FREE!! PRAISE GOD!! We are all so very proud of her and the battle she has overcome so graciously!!
It was a very chilly morning, but we had a wonderful time! There were TONS of walkers/runners and it was all very amazing to me that there are so many people out there that are effected by this cancer! It really was an overwhelming sight to see how many supporters there are here just in Lubbock! Pretty Cool!
One of Angie's good friends actually ran the 5k in Mom's name! We actually saw her running as we were finishing up our walk! Thank you Courtney for loving our Mom too!!
Greg also walked in memory of his Aunt Kathy Shirey, who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2003. We also walked in Celebration of Bess Bills (Greg's Great-Grandmother who is now 96) and Greg's Grandmother Phine Brownd, who are both also survivors of Breast Cancer!!

This is defiantly something that we will do every year! I want my girls to know how hard Mom fought and how proud of her we ALWAYS will be!!

South Plains Fair 2009!

We have had a WONDERFUL weekend! We took the girls to their first fair on Friday afternoon! I do not think I have been to the fair since I was a Senior in High School! So, I was actually really anxious and excited to go, especially with Greg and the Girls!
Paisleigh had a really good time! We shared a cherry pie (delicious...defiantly my favorite part), a funnel cake...which is a funny story and I will share a bit later, walked through exhibits and petting zoos, and Paisleigh and Greg experienced a few rides! All together, it was a great and memorable experience...and we are already looking forward to next year's fair!
Paisleigh was not too sure about the rides! Greg rode the carousel with her and let me tell you, that was the fastest carousel I have ever seen! Her hair was flying and she looked terrified! Thank goodness Greg was there with her!
Greg also took her into the fun house...she was excited going in...and not so excited coming out! One of the fair workers felt bad for her so he gave her a fake pink rose! Kind of precious and she has been playing with it all weekend!
Abigail had a good time...she was just smiley and giggly the whole time! Like always! However, we did have an incident with the "funnel cake powder sugar!" I was trying to get my camera out as Greg and Pais were riding the carousel...and I set the flimsy paper plate that had literaly like 5 pounds of powder sugar on it...of course...on the back of the stroller! Well, not smart on my part because almost instantly a gust of wind came through (thanks Lubbock) and the powder sugar went all over Abigail...and the stroller! She was liking her lips like crazy and I was terribly embarrassed and thankful I had my camera out ready to go! Memories....











We had a Blast!!
