At the Park with Aunt Gigi...

Sunday, the girls and I enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the park with my sister!  Angie just recently got back home from Washington D.C. where she was involved in a semester long Congressional Internship!  I am so proud of her for being so brave and so wonderful!  However, I am SO GLAD to have her back home with us...and the girls are too!

We celebrated Abigail's First Birthday yesterday (even though her actual birthday is not until next Saturday the 29th), and it was PERFECT!  I cannot believe that a year has flown by!  With Paisleigh, I was always so ready for the "next step", and with Abigail....well, it has just gone way to fast!!  I am so thankful that God blessed us with this perfect miracle! She is such a blessing and such an angel in my life!  Greg and I have had so much fun this past year watching Abigail grow and watching the girls grow close as sisters!  How amazing is that!  Well, the party was perfect!  We were surrounded by family and friends!

A Mother's Day to remember forever!

I always knew that I wanted to be a Mom and Mother's Day growing up was always so fun and special!  I love my mom with all of my heart!  She is such a neat, wonderful, strong and compassionate mother!  I knew growing up that I wanted to be as great a Mom as she is!  However, it really never hit me just how special Mother's Day really is!  It isn't about the gifts or cards (as it never should be with any holiday); however, it is all about the meaning and the reflection of the blessings that God has placed in your life and in your heart!  We are so blessed with our two beautiful daughters, Paisleigh and Abigail!
This Mother's Day was so special for me and the rest of our Family because our sweet Abigail Grace was Baptized and our family joined our Church!  It was a perfect day and all of our family was there to celebrate with us!  We are so thankful that we have such a wonderful family who loves us so much and also, that we have found such a wonderful Church home!  Our Pastor is amazing and he made this moment so so so special for us!  His prayer over our family truly touched my heart and his message during the service was absolutely amazing!  Also, Abigail was able to wear the same dress that Paisleigh wore when she was Baptized!!  So Special!!

 

We love our God!  He is such a loving and merciful God!  We are so thankful that we will raise our family and our daughters in a loving Christian home and Church!  Thank you to everyone who made this Mother's Day and Abigail's Baptism so special!

Now, It is never too late for a few Easter Photos....oops! Better late than never!! :)  The girls LOVED Easter this year!  Paisleigh really got into the spirit!  We loved every second of it!

If I had time to upload photos....

I would definitely show you what all the Brownd's have been up to! However, I have not had a second to even upload photos!  I was just looking back at my blog and I have not updated since April 2nd!  April 2nd people...that is far to long!  As soon as I have a second, I will upload photos from Easter...the girls were precious!  As soon as I have a second, I will upload photos from our new living room, kitchen and dining room that we just painted and modernized last weekend!  As soon as I have a second, I will update you on what else is going on in the Brownd house!

However, we do have some really exciting news about this weekend.  Abigail Grace is being Baptized and we are transferring our membership to our new Church home here in Lubbock!  I am so excited and feel so grateful we have found such a wonderful place to worship and grow in our faith and raise our children around other wonderful Christian families! 

But, for now, I just wanted to say hello....we are still here and doing well....and I will upload photos soon...hopefully!
