The Brownd Family has had a busy busy Summer this year!
Since Abigail was born on May 29th...we have since celebrated Paisleigh's SECOND Birthday on July 18th, moved into our new home on the 28th and Abigail is now TWO MONTHS OLD...and I go back to work on Monday...POO!
Paisleigh had a BLAST at her second birthday party! She learned that when someone asks her how old she is she now says "Two". I love it! We had her party at my Mom and Dad's (aka Nona and Papa Jack) in their backyard. It was a Backyardigan's themed party because Pablo is Paisleigh's absolute favorite! I think we watch at least two episodes a day!! Anyways, we set up two little pools and the kiddos swam and we had pizza and cake! While Paisleigh was blowing out her candles on her cake she leaned so far forward that her little tummy permanently mushed her cake!! IT WAS ADORABLE!!
Paisleigh has really been learning and talking so much here lately! She can now count to 10 and sing her abc's! We are so proud of our little girl! We just cannot believe how fast time goes by and how fast these little ones grow up!!

Our sweet new baby Abigail is already TWO MONTHS OLD and I cannot believe it! She is doing so good. We went for her checkup last Thursday and she weighs 9 pounds 8 ounces and is 21 1/4 inches long. Girlfriend has already grown 3 inches!! I am now remembering how fast they grow! The pediatrician says she is looking perfect....which....I already had a hunch about that one! :)
After 10 weeks off (2 of which I was on bedrest before Miss Abigail's arrival in May) I am headed back to work on Monday and I do have to say....I am not ready! I have SO ENJOYED being home with my babies and watching them grow right before my eyes. I do not know if I am really prepared to start "missing" all of that again during the day. Being off with them just makes me realize how much I miss during the day when I am at work! But, you know, you have to do what you have to do! I do enjoy work, but .... I love my girls more! However, I know that there will be many precious moments when I am off work and at home with them! I can not wait for those moments!
We just moved into our new Lubbock home this past week and we LOVE our new house. It is an older home and we cannot wait to fix it up over the years to come! The family who lived here before us was here for 40 years and they raised their two girls here too. Her husband passed away and she is now moving to Corpus Christi to be with her daughters. It was so sad to see her let go of this home and all of the memories it holds for them; however, we are so excited to have found such a great home with such a neat history! It is a two story with big trees and a huge backyard for the girls! I will definantly post pictures as we start to update this new home of ours!!
Well, I leave you with a pic of me and my girls! I love this one....It always makes me smile!!
