Ready for Fall....

I LOVE this time of year! The weather is getting cooler, the air seems more fresh and I actually WANT to get outside and play with the girls and work in the yard. I know, shocker! I am also really excited about Tech Football! I am itching to get to go to a few games since we are back in Lubbock now and I really think Paisleigh will love it too!

We have really been going strong these days! The girls and myself are back in our routine of things. I am still working at Covenant, but for a different doctor and I really enjoy it. I have been debating; however, to go back to school and get my teaching certification. Being off this summer on maternity leave really made me realize how much I would LOVE to be off with the girls during the summers and holidays! Especially with Greg being able to make his own schedule these days, that would just be to wonderful! Plus, I think I have always been destined to teach...I have just been stubborn against the idea in the past! So, if you have any advice for me...let me have it!

Since Paisleigh's 2nd Birthday on July 18th and my last post...the girl has already changed SO much! She had to get ear tubes on August 28th and she did GREAT! I was so nervous and terrified at the idea of her being put under anesthesia, but the nurses and her doctor were fabulous. The whole thing only took about ten minutes. She was in and out and we were eating at IHOP by 11:00! Since that she just dances around and talks so much more! Sometimes, I will catch her touching her ears if there is a siren or a new sound around. It really makes me think she could not hear that well before, and that breaks my heart! But, she is all fixed up now and doing wonderful!

Paisleigh has defiantly figured out the word "mine"! Everything is "mine"! And, I love it! However, just this past weekend she has started referring to herself as "PAIS"! Haha! How precious is that! I guess we really need to pay attention to what we call her!

Abigail will be FOUR MONTHS OLD on the 29th of this month! She is growing so fast! I was thinking about it and time flew with Paisleigh, but time is REALLY flying by with Abigail! She is the happiest baby I have ever seen! Abigail smiles all the time and hardly ever fusses...only when she is hungry! We are so incredibly lucky that our two girls are so laid back and happy! They are just such a joy to have!

Abi has started really moving her arms and legs, holding up her head, she is so alert and she has figured out how to "talk"! I love this stage!

Our little family was able to go to Ruidoso for Labor Day! We met up with Nona and Papa Jack and Aunt GiGi...and it was WONDERFUL! The weather was perfect and the whole weekend was so laid back! We took the girls to the horse races on Saturday and Paisleigh loved watching the horses. Then, on Monday as we were leaving, we thought it would be fun for Paisleigh to ride the little ponies they had there in town. BAD IDEA! Paisleigh loved the idea, until we got there! So, Greg and myself got to walk next to the pony while Paisleigh CLUNG to our necks! The whole adventure was pretty fun, actually!

Greg is doing GREAT with his realestate! We are all SO proud of him! He is selling away and having a ball doing it! It is very hard work and I do not know how he keeps up with that, John Deere, the girls and me (always finding stuff for him to do)!!

I am also really excited about my little business! Uppercase Living! They just came out with a new catalog along with a "mini-catalog" for the Holidays! There are some really precious things in this one and everyone is really excited about it! If you have not seen it yet, you can always go to my website at http://laurenbrownd.uppercaseliving.net/ and check it out...or just let me know that you want a new catalog and I will send one your way!

We hope everyone is doing great! Have a good week!

Love,
