I have NEVER been more ready for a new year than I was for 2012. I am thankful for all of the many blessings we had in 2011; however, I am not sad to say ADIOS to 2011. It was a hard year. I honestly learned so much about myself, marriage, being a mom and I realized that God has GREAT plans for me and our family. "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." Col. 1:17. Amen for that! I know, without a doubt, that God, grace and faith held my family together this past year...and that, is the greatest blessing of all! So, Hello 2012! :)
I made a promise to myself NOT to look back on any part of 2011. I learned so many things, but also said many things that I am not proud of. So, no looking back! Only moving forward and living in this moment...the moment of my life! I came across this quote the other day--"For last year's words belong to last year's language and next year's words await another voice." T.S. Eliot. I have that new voice for myself, my walk with my Savior, my marriage, my children and I am awake and ready to see where God wants to lead me! This year, I have a few resolutions...and I am going to keep them and fulfill them completely!
